Report: Pontiac-West Holliday spent $10,533 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Pontiac-West Holliday School District 105 is down 1 percent from five years ago, according to a Metro East Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the St. Clair County school district spent $10,592 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $10,533 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 763 to 720.

Pontiac-West Holliday's spending in 2016-17 was 19 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
