Report: St. Libory spent $8,434 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at St. Libory Consolidated School District 30 is up 1 percent from five years ago, according to a Metro East Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the St. Clair County school district spent $8,317 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $8,434 in 2016-17.

The district's enrollment remained unchanged over the same period, with 88 students.

St. Libory's spending in 2016-17 was 35 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
