Congratulations to the "Todd Stonewater, Edward Jones Teacher of the Month," Mrs. Patti Eckart!
Mrs. Eckart has been a special education teacher at EK School for the past 17 years. When you meet Patti, you know within seconds just how much passion she has for teaching and learning.
Patti spends countless hours planning for the three grade levels of students she services each day in the areas of math, reading, and language.
On any given day, you will see her working and planning with teachers from each of the three grade level teaching teams.
She is highly respected by her peers and is a valuable resource when it comes to brainstorming and trying different ideas, strategies, and techniques to help those students who are struggling in the regular education settings.
Over the years, Patti has volunteered to be a part of numerous school and district committees and is always willing to take on a leadership role when needed.
Professionally, she continues to seek new ways to learn more about her field so she may provide the best possible instruction to her beloved students.
Each year students and parents alike sing Patti's praises for all that she does for her students. Without a doubt, Patti Eckart is very deserving of this award.
