O'Fallon Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 6.
As for a year-over-year comparison, homes sales in St. Clair, Randolph, and Clinton Counties increased 24.4 percent, 22.2 percent, and 11.1 percent, respectively, compared to the number of home sales in April 2017.
Home Prices
Home prices in nearly the entire the Metro-East rose in April. Clinton County home prices rose 30.6 percent compared to April of 2017. Also on the rise are home prices in Montgomery, Randolph, Jersey, and St. Clair with increases of 24.2, 11.1, 10, and 5.1, respectively.
Days On Market
Days on market continue to decrease in the Metro-East. St. Clair homes sold 19 percent faster this April than last year. Other counties who saw days on market decrease were Monroe, Clinton, and Jersey counties with decreases of 56, 38, and 15 percent, respectively.
