City of Collinsville issued the following announcement on June 27.
STORM - LIMB PICK-UP:
Due to the volume of downed trees and limbs resulting from the storm on June 26, 2018, the City of Collinsville will be offering curbside limb pickup for one week only from Monday, July 9, 2018 through Friday, July 13, 2018.
The City is requesting that all limbs be placed at the curbside prior to 7:00 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018.
Limbs should be cut into sections no longer than four feet in length.
If your limbs are not out by the specified time, they will not be picked up.
Please do not stack limbs by fire hydrants, phone boxes, electrical pedestals or under low hanging wires.
To avoid excessive damage to roads and lawns, please keep limbs off of roadways and stacked neatly and parallel next to the street.
To request a pickup, call 618-346-5200, ext. 1125 and please provide three pieces of information:1) your name, 2) your address and 3) a daytime contact number.
