City of Edwardsville issued the following announcement on Dec. 19.
Both Christmas Day and New Year's Day fall on a Tuesday. Because Allied Waste/Republic Services recognizes them as holidays, your trash & recycling pick-up will be altered.
Monday routes - will NOT change
Tuesday routes - picked up Wednesday
Wednesday routes - picked up Thursday
Thursday routes - picked up Friday
Friday routes - picked up Saturday
