Two cases of illegal weapons possession reported on Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville campus in 2017

There were 2 on-campus cases of illegal weapons possession in 2017 on the campus of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, located in Edwardsville, according to the most recent crime statistics available on the U.S. Department of Education website.

In 2016, there were 6 cases of illegal weapons possession on the campus; and in 2015, there were 2 cases of illegal weapons possession. Overall, in the three year period from 2015 through 2017, 50 percent of on-campus cases of illegal weapons possession happened in residence halls.
