The campaign committee of state senator candidate Bob Romanik, Committee to Elect Bob Romanik State Senate, returned a $43,127.54 contribution from Robert Romanik on March 30, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Romanik has not made any other contributions to Bob Romanik in the past 12 months.
