Hartford home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Hartford rose by $4,100 while total sales increased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $40,100 - a 11.4% increase over the $36,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Hartford in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Hartford for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $789.30, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
