Troy home prices fall in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Troy fell by $9,750 while total sales decreased by 18.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 90 homes sold, with a median sale price of $153,250 - a 6% decrease over the $163,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 111 homes sold in Troy in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Troy for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,873, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
