Cahokia home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Cahokia rose by $2,750 while total sales increased by 14.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 312 homes sold, with a median sale price of $23,500 - a 13.3% increase over the $20,750 median sale price for the previous year. There were 272 homes sold in Cahokia in 2016.

The median sales tax in Cahokia for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,471, approximately 6.3% of the median home sale price for 2017.
