Marine home prices rise in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in Marine rose by $71,988 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $120,000 - a 149.9% increase over the $48,012 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Marine in March 2016.

The median sales tax in Marine for 2017 was $3,073. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,047. This marks an increase of 0.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
