Edwardsville home prices rise in June 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2017 in Edwardsville rose by $27,450 while total sales decreased by 28.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2017, there were 63 homes sold, with a median sale price of $197,900 - a 16.1% increase over the $170,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 88 homes sold in Edwardsville in June 2016.

The median sales tax in Edwardsville for 2017 was $4,028. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,621. This marks an increase of 11.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2%.
