Respiratory Care Practitioner-PRN/Varies
Job Summary:
Provides respiratory care services: safe, skillful, accurate and in an efficient manner, age-appropriate and population specific to patients of all ages under the direction of a physician, guided by department guidelines, policies, procedures and protocols.
Education & Other Requirements:
Education Level: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
Certification/Licensure: Current credentials with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC):
Certification required, Registry preferred
Current State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner License required
Adult/Pediatric CPR certification required (Available upon employment)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required (Available upon employment)
ACLS/PALS certification preferred.
Experience Requirements: Minimum of one to two years clinical experience as a student therapist.
CT Technologist-FT & PRN/Days
Job Summary:
To apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in accordance with policy and procedure, practicing radiation safety methods at all time. To select appropriate technical factors limiting the need for re-exposure and in accordance with equipment operating guidelines. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative, and basic knowledge of cross sectional anatomy. To apply patient care, communicating the procedure performed, lessening apprehension and in accordance with the hospital’s Patent’s Rights policies. Knowledge of the needs of patient according to their age group and the ability to modify care according to patient’s age.
Education & Other Requirements:
Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification/Licensure: Formal radiologic technology training in AMA approved school.
Must be ARRT registered and IDNS licensed unrestricted.
Current BLS: Required

Job Summary:
Performs basic duties of patient care to adult and geriatric populations, under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse. Performs various housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe, clean environment. Performance expectations are defined in the competency evaluation.
Education & Other Requirements:
Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent
Certification/Licensure: Successful completion of approved Nurse Assistant course with certification by the State of Illinois
BLS certification required
Experience Requirements: Long term care, rehabilitation, and/or medical surgical care experience preferred
Polysomnographic Tech-FT/Nights
Job Summary:
A Sleep Lab Technologist, Registered is responsible for performing artifact free Polysomnography, PAP Titrations, MSLT and MWT studies and the scoring of those studies.
Education & Other Requirements:
Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate Degree in Science preferred.
Certification/Licensure: Adult/Pediatric CPR certification required (Available upon employment).
Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnography Technologists (BRPT) or National Board of
Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
Experience Requirements: Experience in a technical healthcare field with training and 3-5 years’ experience in Respiratory Care and/or Sleep preferred.1 year experience as a Registered Sleep Technologist preferred.
Cook-FT/Vaires
Job Summary:
Prepares food for patients, cafeteria, and special functions. Cleans work areas as related to the preparation and serving of food.
Education & Other Requirements:
Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent
Certification/Licensure: Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Experience Requirements: Prior food service experience necessary. One-year experience in quantity (batch cooking) food production preferred.
Medical Assistant-FT/Days
Job Summary:
The medical assistant performs administrative support duties under the direction of the practice manager which may include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone and directing the calls to the appropriate staff, registering patients, collecting and updating patient demographics, verifying health insurance coverage and collecting/processing payments. Clinical duties are performed under the supervision of the physician or mid-level provider and may include obtaining and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for the examination, drawing blood and administering medications as directed by the physician or mid-level provider.
Education & Other Requirements:
Education Level: High school graduate or equivalent required. Medical terminology course or background required. Graduate of a medical assistant program preferred. Will train if necessary. Certification preferred or willingness to become certified.
Experience Requirements: Experience in a medical setting. Prior experience as a medical assistant is preferred.
Other Requirements: Must be able to complete computer work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
