City of O'Fallon issued the following announcement on Mar 19.
Public comment is invited with regard to the proposed Facility Plan prepared by the City of O’Fallon, and a Notice of Categorical Exclusion from Detailed Environmental Review prepared by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
These documents refer to a planned upgrade to the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant to include the construction of tertiary filters, sludge pump station, and sludge handling facilities in this phase (Phase 2). The documents will be on display at City Hall for a period of ten (10) days following the publication of this notice, during which comments may be filed with the Director of Public Works, Jeff Taylor, P.E., 255 South Lincoln Avenue, O’Fallon, IL 62269.
Comments may also be directed to Gary Bingenheimer, Illinois EPA – IFAS, PO Box 19276, Springfield, IL 62794-9276. It is the intention of the City of O’Fallon to obtain a low interest rate loan through the state revolving loan fund with which to construct the proposed improvements.
This notice is required by 35 Illinois Administrative Code Chapter II Sec. 365.530.
