Median home prices in Mascoutah rose to $225,000 in Q2

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Mascoutah rose by $16,000 while total sales decreased by 29 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 49 homes sold, with a median sale price of $225,000 - a 7.7 percent increase over the $209,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 69 homes sold in Mascoutah in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Mascoutah for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,386, approximately 1.5 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
