Home prices decreased in Swansea during Q2

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Swansea fell by $500 while total sales decreased by 16.7 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 75 homes sold, with a median sale price of $220,000 - a 0.2 percent decrease from the $220,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 90 homes sold in Swansea in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Swansea for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,780, approximately 1.7 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
