Pricing for the median home in Fairmont City (St. Clair County) increased during Q2

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Fairmont City in St. Clair County rose by $10,000 while total sales decreased by 60 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $50,000 - a 25 percent increase over the $40,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Fairmont City in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Fairmont City for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,078, approximately 2.2 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
