Home prices increased in Caseyville during the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Caseyville rose by $9,500 while total sales increased by 10.2 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 54 homes sold, with a median sale price of $99,500 - a 10.6 percent increase over the $90,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 49 homes sold in Caseyville in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Caseyville for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,878, approximately 1.9 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
