Madison County Consolidated Election Day is one week away, on April 4

Madison County municipal officials, including mayors, village board members and school board members, are on the ballot on April 4, the first Tuesday in April.

A total of 203 candidates will compete for 83 municipal offices, including four contests for city and village, 24 for park, fire and library boards and 30 for school boards.

There are no voter referendums on the April 4 ballot.

In 2021, the last Madison County Consolidated Election, it had 189,020 registered voters and 32,033 cast ballots, or 16.95 percent.

In the 2019 Madison County Consolidated Election, it had 183,278 registered voters and 21,695 cast ballots, or 11.84 percent.
