On Saturday, March 14, Emerson Weller, a former standout from Edwardsville High School, and her current team, the UMSL Tritons, were defeated 60-49 by the Northwood Timberwolves in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The contest began at 5 p.m. inside the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena and marked the Tritons’ first encounter with Northwood during the tournament.
