Former Althoff Catholic High School standout Emilee Travnicek and her collegiate team, the Washington Bears, claimed a 65-53 win over the Geneseo Knights in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 6.
Branch Rickey Arena hosted the 4:45 p.m. contest, marking the first tournament matchup between the Bears and the Knights.
Washington is set to play its next tournament game on Saturday, March 7, at 7:15 p.m. at Branch Rickey Arena.
