Report: At Prather Elementary School, Black student rule-breaking rate notably exceeds that of white students

Black students, constituting 15.9% or 107 of Prather Elementary School's total student population of 674, accounted for six out of the seven total suspensions (85.7%) in the 2021-22 school year, averaging roughly one suspension per 18 students, according to the latest student discipline report by the Illinois State Board of Education.
