Madison County Health Department Committee convenes to examine committee reports, make purchase order recommendations, approve monthly expense reports.
The Health Department Committee for Madison County, Illinois, recently convened to examine the Public Health Administrator and Advisory Committee reports, as well as to make purchase order recommendations and approve monthly expense reports.
The committee used a slide presentation to review revenue amounts during the Public Health Administrator report. Afterwards, it was noted that the NALBOH 2016 Conference will take place on Aug. 10 to 12 at the Ballpark Hilton in St. Louis, Missouri.
During a review of the Advisory Committee Report, Janet Burnett walked the group through the “potential areas of expertise” sheet, answering any questions the committee asked. She also noted that the committee needed to appoint an Illinois-licensed dentist to the Advisory Committee, as the current dentist had relocated outside the committee.
Before adjourning, the committee tackled monthly operations and agenda items, specifically approving health department purchase orders and the Madison County Health Department Expense Summary Report for the month.
