The Village of Glen Carbon Planning and Zoning Commission recently held a meeting to review two public hearings.
One of the hearings dealt with an application from the Village Building and Zoning Administrator to amend city laws as they relate to physical fitness facilities. The law pertains to establishments engaged in operating health clubs, spas and similar facilities.
The other hearing dealt with a zoning amendment submitted by Alfred and Peggy Buchanan. They sought a change in the zoning classification of a lot they own -- from agricultural to residential.
Before adjourning, the commission held a discussion relating to public roadways within the village.
