The Zoning Board of Appeals for Madison County recently met and approved six new motions.

The Zoning Board of Appeals for Madison County, Illinois, met recently to give updates on two existing appeals, examine six new appeals and assess the planning coordinator’s report.

The two existing appeals had been brought forth by the Planning and Development Committee, one for the revocation of S&K Repair Service SUP and one related to the I-55 Corridor. Both remained tabled.

On the new business front, the board looked at six appeals. The appeals had been brought forth by Brian Williams, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Kenneth and Lori Moats, Jared Schwarz, Todd Neilson and James Whitesides. All six were approved unanimously.

Before adjourning, the board listened to the planning coordinator’s report. Derek Jackson informed the board that the next set of hearings would come the following month.
