The Institutions Committee for Madison County, Illinois, met at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, to hear monthly reports from the institutions with which it liaises.
After approving the minutes from its January meeting and hearing comments from the public, the committee examined reports from the Education, Veteran’s Assistance, Mental Health, Child Advocacy and County Historical Museum departments.
It also approved necessary bills and discussed purchasing approvals.
The Institutions Committee recommends needs for these departments, programs and facilities. Nick Petrillo is the committee chair. Committee members include Mick Madison, Liz Dalton, Lisa Ciampoli, Kristen Novacich, Robert Pollard and Roger Alons.
