The Finance Committee for Godfrey, Illinois, recently held a meeting in which it examined public requests and heard from the Public Works Department.
A public request was presented to authorize a waiver for raffle license bonding for Riverbend Growth Association. Trustee Stumpf moved to waive the bond requirement. The motion carried.
The Public Works Department wanted the committee to consider its bid for MFT Road Oil 2016 materials. Stumpf moved for the approval of the lowest MFT bid received for the 2016 programs unit bid prices and the motion carried.
Committee members present at the meeting included McAtee, Springman, Stewart, Stumpf and Williams. The department heads from the Building and Zoning, Parks and recreation, Maintenance, Budget and Sewer Plant departments were in attendance, as well.
