The Madison County Zoning Board of Appeals plans to convene on various new appeals at its upcoming meeting.

The Madison County Zoning Board of Appeals plans to convene on various new appeals at its upcoming meeting.

The Zoning Board of Appeals for Madison County, Illinois, will meet at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, to discuss three new appeals.

Todd and Donna Taul will request a variance that will allow them to construct an accessory building in a front yard setback area. The area is located in an R-2 Single Family Residential District in Foster Township.

Richard and Janiece Schaefer will request a variance in order to create a tract of land that has 50 feet of property width at the established building line instead of the mandated 150 feet. This property is located in Hamel Township, in the agricultural district.

Alan and Debra Valenti will ask for a special use permit so that they can place a double-wide manufactured home onsite for occupancy for five years. The property in question is located in an agricultural district in Leef Township.

The meeting will be held in the Planning and Development Department Conference Room of the Madison County Administration Building, which is located at 157 N. Main St., Suite 254, Edwardsville.
