Alton Police Pension Board considers revisions to pension fund rules

The Police Pension Board for the City of Alton met recently to consider possible revisions to the rules governing the Police Pension Fund, which was last amended in 2001.

The other new-business agenda item the board assessed was proposed legislation that affects downstate police and fire pension funds.

Existing business discussed at the meeting included the status of election for active duty trustees and retired trustees and the status of board members filing economic interest disclosure forms with the County Clerk.

The meeting was held at Alton City Hall, 101 E. Third Street.
