The Granite City Public Works Committee met Jan. 3 to remove handicapped spaces.

Alderman Thompson called the Public Works Committee Meeting to order.
Thompson stated that first is the Maryville Road Engineering Agreement and turned over to Steve Osborn.
Osborn stated that the Maryville Road project will be in 2 phases.
Thompson stated that we will vote on this tonight.
Thompson stated that next is a handicapped parking at 2708 Harvey Place. We will be sending it back.
Thompson stated that next is an Ordinance 8337 and removing it’s designation of handicap parking space at 2506 Iowa. We will be voting on this tonight.
Thompson stated that next is the Intergovernmental Agreement Concerning the Pump Station at Wabash and Amos Ave, in Granite City, IL.
Discussion by the Mayor and council about the Intergovernmental Agreement. The council decided to send it back for new wording.
Motion by Thompson, second by Jackstadt to Adjourn the Public Works Committee Meeting.
All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.
