City of Alton Civil Service Commission met March 15.

Here is the minutes provided by the Commission:

Members Present: Vicki Searles-Williams, Terry Bristow, Jonas Janek

Members Absent: None

Staff Present: Civil Service Attorney Rodney Caffey

Guests Present: None

A motion was made by Mr. Janek and seconded by Ms. Williams to approve the minutes of the regular meeting on March 1, 2017. Motion passed.

Ms. Williams made motion, seconded by Mr. Janek to vote on extending the current Street Maintenance Grade V eligibility list for another year. All in favor. No opposed. Motion passed.

Account Clerk III requisition was signed.

Requisition for Elliott Fergurson to be promoted from PO to PFC was signed.

Lead Jailer and two new Jailer Requisitions were signed.

Mark Dorsey’s Retirement form was signed.

Jailers Colleen Moore and Joseph Eschbach resigned, along with Police Officer Clayton Proffitt.

Three Jailer interviews were held following the meeting.

With no further business, Ms. Williams made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bristow to adjourn at 8:20 a.m. Motion passed.
