Unpaid fines for Wood River-based campaign committees totaled $650 in January 2017

Campaign committees in Wood River collectively owe a total of $650 in overdue fees, records obtained by the Metro East Sun show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that two committees in Wood River were delinquent in payment for January 2017.

The Wood River-based committee with the largest total in unpaid fines was Friends of Mark Burris, which owes a total of $600.

The largest fine that Friends of Mark Burris has yet to pay was imposed on Aug. 28, 2015, for a late quarterly report. The amount of this fine alone is $550.

The following table lists all campaign committees in Wood River owing unpaid fines in January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections:
