Notice is hereby given by the City Plan Commission of the City of Alton, Illinois, that a public
hearing will be held in the Alton City Council Chambers, 101 E. Third Street, Alton, Illinois, on
Tuesday, August 8, 2017, 4:30 p.m. to consider the following matter:
StraightUP Solar, Charles Melton, Jr. petitioned the Alton City Council for a special use
permit for the installation of a roof top, grid tied 5.67 kilowatt solar photovoltaic array
at the property identified by permanent parcel number 23-1-07-10-20-401-005, Section
10, Township 5 North, Range 10 West of the Third Principal Meridian, also known as
455 Bluff, Alton, Illinois.
