Collinsville will be celebrating its first ever Christmas at the Collins House on Saturday, Dec. 2, the city said on its website.
The celebration will start with a light-up parade down Main Street at 5:30 p.m. and will make its way back at the Collins House for a tree lighting ceremony, the posting said. Attendees can enjoy a fee cup of hot chocolate and apple cider sponsored by Walmart neighborhood market.
Those interested in participating in the parade can fill out an entry form and mail it to the city of Collinsville with all required documents downloaded on the website. According to the entry form information, any questions regarding the application can be directed to Collinsville City Clerk Kim Wasser.
