City of Granite City Insurance and Safety Committee met Nov. 21.

Gerald Williams, Bob Pickerell, Walmer Schmidtke, Bill Davis, Don Thompson, Ron Simpson, Paul Jackstadt, Dan Mcdowell, Tim Elliott, Brian Konzen, Ed Hagnauer, Judy Whitaker

Alderman Williams called the Insurance & Safety Committee Meeting to order.

Williams turned over to Kozer to discuss 1, 2, 3, on the agenda.

Kozer stated that first up for renewal is the City’s Health Renewal.

Motion by Williams, second by Schmidtke to approve the City’s Health Renewal. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.

Kozer stated that next up for approval is the City’s Property, General Liability, Auto, Earthquake, Workers Compensation, Excess Insurance, Third Party Administrator, Cyber, and Broker fees.

Motion by Williams, second by Simpson to approve the City’s Property, General Liability, Auto, Earthquake, Workers Compensation, Excess Insurance, Third Party Administrator, Cyber, and Broker fees. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.

Kozer stated next up for approval is the Gateway Regional Lab and Clinic renewal.

Motion by Williams, second by Simpson to approve the Gateway Regional Lab and Clinic renewal. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.

Motion by Williams, second by Pickerell to go into closed session. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.

Motion by Williams, second by Pickerell settlement authority as discussed in closed session.

Motion by Williams, second by Pickerell to come out of closed session. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.

Motion by Williams, second by Pickerell to adjourn the Insurance & Safety Committee Meeting. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.
