State Representative Kevin Schmidt has announced a free tire recycling event set for Saturday, July 19th. The event will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Freeburg Recreation Park. It aims to provide residents with a safe way to dispose of old tires.
Residents can bring up to five tires per car. Representative Schmidt highlighted the significance of responsible waste management, saying, “This event offers our community with a safe and responsible way to dispose of old tires, ensuring cleaner neighborhoods and reducing potential environmental hazards. I encourage everyone to participate and contribute to our efforts to clean up our community.”
