The event will be held Saturday, May 19 at the East Carondelet Community Center, 832 State St., in East Carondelet, Ill. and will occur from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

“Making healthcare accessible is a large part of what we believe in at Touchette,” said Felecia Jackson, Community Outreach Specialist. “We have been working closely with Mayor Simmons of East Carondelet and Mayor Wilson of Dupo. They appreciate events like these, as they place necessary health resources within reach for members of their communities.”

Just a few of the health screenings that will be available at the event include: blood pressure checks, fitness screenings, and HIV testing. Participants will also have the chance to receive information on breast health, domestic violence prevention services, drug and alcohol counseling and others.
