NEW BUSINESS:

Natalie Ritter with Arrow Signs presented the sign application for 200 State St. A 4’ x 6’ vinyl sign will be applied to the brick wall across from ConAgra using heat. It is white with black and gold lettering reading “Morrison’s Irish Pub”. A new sign, also white with black and gold lettering, will replace the existing sign above the entrance on State St. It will have four (4) black gooseneck lights below illuminating it. It will be the same size as the existing sign, 14’ x 14”. A discussion was held about the preference of the original sign. The commissioners suggested that the owners of the business save the existing sign for repurposing.

Gen Gearing made a motion to approve the sign application as presented. Mike Doucleff seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.

OTHER BUSINESS:

A discussion was held about the alley at Bottle & Barrel, specifically about the visibility of the dumpster. It was agreed that any business who appears before the commission in the future will be advised about the need for proper screening.

A time limit will be established for permits to be obtained. All approved projects must be completed within six months or they should reappear before the commission.

Zac’s Hookah Lounge needs to either comply with approved plans or reappear with changes. A form letter will be created by Debbie Schuneman for future situations such as this.

There being no further discussion or comment from the public, the meeting was adjourned at 8:46 a.m.
