Edwardsville Community Unit School District 7 issued the following announcement on June 25.
The Special Olympics Summer Games were held last weekend in Bloomington, IL. Edwardsville School District 7 students that attended and placed in events were as follows:
* Andrew Aramowicz received a gold medal (1st place) for the 800M Run.
* Brady Buckley Jr. came in 3rd place for the Standing Long Jump and 4th Place for the 400M Run.
* Zack Gibbs came in 5th place for the 1500M Run.
* Noah Black came in 3rd place for the 50M Backstroke and 7th Place for the 50M Freestyle.
