Belt wins 57th Senate District race

Democrat Christopher Belt has been declared the winner in the 57th Senate District race against Republican Tanya Hildenbrand.

With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Belt had 59 percent of the vote with a total of 43,577 votes.

Hildenbrand received 41 percent of the vote with a total of 30,260 votes.
