State House race: Democrat Costello wins voter tally in New Athens Township Precinct 2

Jerry Costello II led Republican David Friess in votes cast in New Athens Township Precinct 2 for the District 116 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Costello appeared to outpace Friess by a margin of 1.2 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
