Q2 real estate sales report: Fairview Heights

Median prices declined in Fairview Heights over last year, and are down 45.9 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to second quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From April to June, 64 homes sold in Fairview Heights for a median price of $114,000. That's 8.8 percent lower than median home sale prices for the second quarter of 2017.

In the second quarter, there were no foreclosures in Fairview Heights.

Median property tax for homeowners in Fairview Heights was $2,890.93 in 2016 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 2.5 percent of their home's value in taxes.
