O'Fallon Community Consolidated School District 90 recently issued the following announcement.
The Board of Education selected Mrs. Michelle Dippel as the D90 Teacher of the Month! Congratulations, Mrs. Dippel! This award is sponsored by Todd Stonewater, Edward Jones.
Mrs. Michelle Dippel has grown into a teacher leader over the past 5 years. She has taken a leadership role with the implementation of our Common Core Standards as well as serving on many committees at Evans School and at the district level.
She was the lead organizer of our first STEM night in April of 2018 and is currently working to make this event a reality again this year. She is active as an officer (Vice President) on the Evans PTO as well as an active participant in the EK PTO.
She is one of those special teachers who can do it all. She brings focus to the implementation of the district initiatives and follows through with fidelity to the process. She has been a leader at Evans school with implementing the evaluation process, the Daily Five, New Illinois Learning Standards/Common Core, and the new grade level assessment initiatives.
She annually organizes a kick off breakfast and end of PARCC celebration for staff to ensure a positive and supportive environment during the testing window. She willingly attends professional development and shares what she has learned with peers and colleagues.
She is also willing to take a leadership role in district grade level team meetings. Mrs. Dippel volunteers to serve as a mentor to student teachers and student observers from local universities. Principal Keller said, "She is a difference maker at Evans School!"
Thank you to Mr. Todd Stonewater, or Edward Jones, for his continued support of our staff recognition program!

Mrs. Dippel and her family, the Seipp family, spent many days constructing the D90 float, which was truly spectacular! This is just one example of how she goes above and beyond for our school district!
