O'Fallon Community Consolidated School District 90 recently issued the following announcement.
At their meeting last night, the Board of Education recognized Lujuana Bruner, of Moye Elementary, as the "D90 Support Staff Member of the Month"--Sponsored by O'Fallon Fraternal Order of Police.
Ms. Lujuana Bruner was originally hired at the beginning of the 2016 school year as a noon hour supervisor and before care worker. Lujuana was very successful in both positions, and was eventually hired as a program aide. This year, Lujuana is an individual care aide for a 4th grade student in a Cross Categorical classroom. Lujuana is a staff member who is comes to school each day with a big smile and goes above and beyond what is expected of her. She works tirelessly by always striving to do her best. She is flexible and adapts to the needs of the students in the classroom. She is patient and kind when assisting students. Her principals said, "Lujuana is a genuinely good person who is always willing to work and help any student who is in need. Overall, Lujuana is an outstanding person of high character, integrity, and dedication. She is definitely an asset to District 90."
