City of Collinsville issued the following announcement on Jan. 22.
The City of Collinsville was awarded a $75,000.00 planning grant through the Great Streets Initiative sponsored by East-West Gateway Council of Governments.
This granted is intended to support the planning efforts to revitalize the St. Louis Road and Collinsville Road historic corridor.
We want your opinion and want to give you the opportunity to meet with city officials , designers and planners at 3 interactive public workshops. the first workshop, Monday January 28th, will be part of the city council meeting at 6pm at city hall
The next two workshops will be Tuesday January 29th and Thursday January 31st - from 6-8pm at the First Baptist Church on St. Louis Road.
Residents and Business owners are invited to share input during these interactive discussions and planning workshops.
Planners and consultants will also be available during the day January 28th from 9-5 at city hall andat First baptist church January 29th thru the 31st from 9-5.
