Report: Wolf Branch spent $9,513 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Wolf Branch School District 113 is up 14.5 percent from five years ago, according to a Metro East Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Saint Clair County school district spent $8,309 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $9,513 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 896 to 799.

Wolf Branch's spending in 2017-18 was 28.7 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
