Democratic Sarah Smith's election campaign committee, Friends of Sarah Smith, spent $9,014 in the second quarter, according to committee expenditure records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Smith's committee spent the most on campaign work in the quarter, with all those payments ($3,000) going to Madelyn Foster Foster in Glen Carbon. Table 1 below shows the distribution of how Smith's committee spent its money in the second quarter.
