The campaign committee of state representative candidate Don Moore, Moore for Illinois, returned a $1,000 contribution from Don Weber on April 4, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Weber has not made any other contributions to Don Moore in the past 12 months.
