Cahokia home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Cahokia rose by $2,850 while total sales decreased by 35.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 47 homes sold, with a median sale price of $23,350 - a 13.9% increase over the $20,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 73 homes sold in Cahokia in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Cahokia for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,471.10, approximately 6.3% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
